• Select 2D View if you want the maps displayed during navigation to appear in 2D, that is, like a

traditional “paper” map.

• Select 3D View if you want the maps displayed during navigation to appear in 2D, that is, with spatial

vision.

After clicking on the screen in navigation mode, you can:

• Orient northwards The navigation map remains oriented towards the north whereas the arrow

indicating the direction of travel will change according to the direction of the road taken.

• Orient in the vehicle’s direction The arrow indicating the direction of travel remains oriented

towards the top of the screen.

• Click on Return to Guidance To return to the navigation screen.

7.1.11. AUTO ZOOM MODE

• Select « Auto zoom: Off » if you want the map displayed during navigation to remain at the same

zoom level that you have selected.

• Click on « Auto Zoom: On » if you want the map displayed during navigation to zoom automatically

show the next change in direction with as much detail as possible.

7.2. HOW CAN YOU SIMPLY TRACK YOUR POSITION?

With your ViaMichelin portable GPS device, you can plan the route of your choice and let yourself be

guided by the navigation messages. You can also simply allow the GPS to indicate your position: with the Main

Menu click on “TRACK MY POSITION” to go to the navigation screen.
